The intellectual property courts in England have been leading the way towards streamlining court procedures in recent years.
Now a new pilot scheme for business and property disputes is exploring ways to improve the disclosure process. This should help to speed up cases and control their cost, as well as encouraging early settlement. Claire O'Brien comments on what lessons can be learned from the experience of the IP courts.
